Signed and titled in the plate lower edge of the image. Titled Flore Artificielle, (Artificial Flower), this work evokes the famous belle epoque era of Paris at the end of the 19th century. In the image, a woman is seated before a mirror applying her makeup before going out for the evening. This is the final state of six states.
