Roommates: Can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em!
Do any of these sound familiar?
Consideration: You have an early final. Your roommate keeps you up half the night with loud music, noisy friends, or general racket. Your exam goes badly.
Trust: Your bills are due but your roommate's portion is nowhere to be found. The resulting troubles mess up your other commitments.
Communication: Roommate's friend is coming for a visit which will impact the living space considerably -- but nobody bothered to mention this to you. You have to scramble to adjust.
This is my goal, as The Roommate Coach — to help you get along with others where it really counts. I am well aware of how tricky dealing with people can be; I have no illusions about everyone suddenly holding hands and singing by the campfire. This is why I am not promising miracles or any overnight magical transformations like you see in the movies. But since the roommate situation by definition is essential to our financial well-being much of the time, any kind of improvement will be worth the effort.
Life is challenging enough without wasting time and energy on unnecessary trouble. I've spent years figuring out ways to minimize conflict and I can show you how to do the same thing. Put all that time and energy to good use! Let The Roommate Coach help.
